How to make a t shirt quilt by hand. Trace the cardboard with permanent marker. This quilt is made up of a simple, 9 square block but you can use any pattern you choose. Then sew them by rows onto the sashing.

You create your label in a word processing program on your computer. You can even add a border around everything, which is the fabric around the perimeter of your quilt. You could have these made with sashing.

You should now have a 9 block square measuring 12. Check your seams after you have sewn the block. If you have more, you can cut the logos and designs smaller to fit them all onto your quilt.
