You should try to avoid defrosting steak in the microwave because there are chances that the steak may get partially cooked due to the heat of the oven and the partially cooked steak is the best home for many bacteria. When i came down to the kitchen this morning (around 7:00 am) i saw that the packages. Larger items, such as a chuck roast, need a full day or more to thoroughly defrost,. But even if they had entered an early stage of bacte.
I probably didn't need to tell you to remove the steak from the freezer in order to thaw it. Use cold water to defrost, not hot ( same bacteria problem, plus paially cooks meat, yuck). Remove your steak from the freezer.
